dResume is a powerful alternative to your conventional resume.
It is a resume that is responsive, portable, Interoperable, flexible, adaptable (fluid), indexable, searchable & most important of all - updated across the web.
Responsive: Today, when the world is on the go, recruiters and recruitment stakeholders view the same resume through various devices such as Computer, tablets or Mobile phones. The resume should be able to adapt to all screens to ensure seamless visual experience across devices of various sizes. The resume must be responsive - dResume is!
Interoperable: The biggest challenge faced by an organisation is to import resume from different source into their ATS. Every platform, application or software use different schemas for storing and indexing data. dResume API helps importing your profile into desired schemas, thus making intra-machine data transfer seamless. dResume is machine friendly.
Flexible: Whether a recruiter wants to view a short profile or a detailed one, dResume is flexible. Recruiters can view a title or expand to view the entire detail. This saves enormous time for all stakeholders.
Adaptable (fluid): Each recruiter has a unique way of going through resume. Some prefer to look at education & institution to start with. Others prefer to start with experience & skill set. Some just start off with location, primarily when they have urgent positions to fill. In dResume, various elements are presented in blocks & these blocks can be rearranged based on recruiters priorities. This helps recruiters get high level of consistency in profile viewing & also the flexibility to view as required.
Indexable & Searchable: With largely universal standard XML presentation of resume, dResume helps machines, search bots index and search profiles more efficiently and helps the right resume move up the search ranking. This is crucial to get the right people view the profile.
Updatable across the web: Resume change over a period. People shift jobs, acquire additional qualification, knowledge, certification & skillsets. All these gets added to the latest resume. So resume presented previously are outdated and stale and will not help in reaching the right people or landing the right job. dResume not only keeps track of all entities that have access to the profile, but also offers latest profile to all the entities through their API.
dResume benefits the entire recruitment ecosystem. From Jobseekers and recruiters to all the machines involved in the recruitment process, dResume offers seamless fluidity in every transaction, be it between Person to Person, Person to Machine or Machine to Machine.

Since the advent of recruitment technology, the industry has spent Billions of dollars and an enormous amount of effort to bridge the gap between Task and Talent. From ATS and Job boards to Programmatic and AI driven solutions, 100’s of start-ups raise millions of dollars seeking to bridge the gap in their own ways. Every day new products and solutions are hitting the market offering enviable Return of Investment.
After over 3 decades since DICE & Monster started their Job portals that can be considered as the advent of digital Recruitment Technology era, have we been able to bridge the gap? Partly. Though there is convergence, the gap largely remains.
To understand this, let us deep dive into recruitment from technology perspective. Recruitment primarily involves Recruiters and Jobs on one side of the bridge and Jobseeker and Resume on the other side. Technology should be the bridge. Jobseekers and Recruiters are the stake holders. Resume and Job are the content that have to be matched for optimal results. The more structured the content is, more optimal the matching.
After tasting the fruits of technology through the use of ATS & Job boards, companies with deep pockets started opening up their purse in a quest to reach out. This led to more innovations such as Job distribution & Job wrapping services that helped jobs reach more audience. ATS and Job boards moved on from offering text job descriptions to properly structured content. Gleefully Job aggregators & Search engines gulped up these structured jobs at the expense of unstructured jobs. Google says, adding structured data makes job postings eligible to appear in a special user experience in Google Search results. Today, most job postings across the web are structured and bot friendly.
On the other hand, Jobseekers, with little or no spending power have to go around the web, searching for the right job and applying for each one of them through online forms of Job board, company ATS or through email individually. Of late, indeed, zip recruiter & LinkedIn offer one-click apply option for jobseekers, but without structured data getting passed on, recruiters end up avoiding these applications. The onus of maintaining a ledger of all the applications & following up also lies with Jobseekers. They are over-whelmed. There is little in the form of technology for them. What little is offered is an extension of Job-related services. Few jobseeker targeted technologies like online resume builders focus on cosmetics and content for visual appeasement of the recruiter but do little to structure the resume for bots and machines.
A simple Google search for job in a particular field will fetch quality results from 50 different employer sites, job boards and aggregators whereas a search for resume with any skillset will almost invariably land us with sample resume templates for the skillset.
For the gap to be filled, Jobseekers must be empowered. They must also have access to technology. Resume should also be structured.
dResume is here to do that!
How cool will it be if recruiters can shortlist a profile from a job board & in a single click, import it into their ATS for internal processing and on selection of the applicant, export it out to the company’s HRMS for onboarding.
For this, you need a structured resume, its schema and vocabulary & an API to easily integrate.
dResume offers all these

Enable seamless recruitment in your recruitment applications with dResume.
For ages, when a Recruiter asks for our resume, we send them a copy of our resume through email. To read this email, Recruiters must open their email app, download the profile & open it in word or pdf reader. They need 1 or more third party apps like email client (outlook, Gmail etc), document app (MS word, adobe reader etc) to go through the resume.
In a year, the resume becomes stale. You would have added various trainings, certifications, skillsets & Job roles to your profile. But the Recruiter still has your old resume & will keep sharing opportunities for that resume, not for you.
This is why you need dResume. With dResume, you will not be sharing your document resume by email but sharing a URL (hyperlink) to the Recruiter that they can open any time. You can keep adding new skillsets, Job roles etc in your dResume & every time they open it, they will have access to your latest updated profile, not one you sent a year back.
Today, in a mobile, always connected world, Recruiters may view your resume from any device - mobile, laptop or tab. Your document profile is usually incompatible in smaller devices and viewers have to expand individual sections of your resume to go through the entire details. Not only is it very difficult, but Recruiters may also miss critical details in your resume due to strain in reading the content. With dResume html public profile, your profile is responsive & can be viewed seamlessly without strain through any device.
With dResume your profile is - responsive, always updated & needs only a browser to view the profile from anywhere, any device & at any time. Move on, create your dResume if you have not already done so & share only your dResume URL with Recruiters.
